Parsons North Real Estate

Parsons North homes for sale tend to be modern interpretations of traditional styles, including Craftsman, Arts and Crafts and Neo-Traditional. This fusion of styles, most notably their clean lines and bold details, create a lot of curb appeal. Big windows, Hardie board-style siding, and a portico or porch are all designed to create an appealing look to the front of the homes in Parsons Creek.

Generally, at the low end of the Parsons North real estate market, there are a handful of vacant lots that would be ideal for building a dream home on. The low-end can also feature framed-in properties that are awaiting a builder with imagination, although these types of properties are not as common. Duplexes and semi-detached homes are more common among the mid-range homes for sale in Parsons North, along with a handful of single-family detached homes. Some of the homes have been built with separate entrances for converting an area of the home into a legal suite in the future. Some of the homes might feature granite countertops in the kitchen, modern backsplashes like subway tile, wood or laminate flooring and master suites with walk-in closets and large bathtubs.

Community Spirit

Based on a core foundation of making life easier for the residents of the community, Parsons North’s design plan includes being almost entirely self-sufficient. To reach this aim, the area’s developers plan to provide a healthy mix of commercial, residential and recreational space for all residents to find what they need to enjoy a great life. The community is expected to be very walkable, as well as being served by eco-friendly transportation methods.

On the south side of the community is where residents can really see the developers’ commitment to living harmoniously with nature. It is that section of the community that will retain a large portion of the natural Fort McMurray muskeg, although many natural walking trails can be found winding their way throughout the community. On top of this, residents of Parsons North can still find plenty of park space, including two large parks—Syncrude Athletic Park and Parson’s Creek Water Park.

For large retailers and smaller locally-owned retail stores, there’s the Town Center and Main Street Districts. The Main Street District is a picturesque and pedestrian-friendly area that boasts tree-lined streets, wide sidewalks and aims to provide a wonderful meeting spot for the area’s residents.
